Everything you need to know before you buy travel insurance from MRL!
MRL's Premier travel insurance plan is not the most comprehensive on the market—its cover limit when cancelling before travel is £5000 and its cover limit for personal possessions and baggage which are damaged, lost or stolen is £2000. It also has a medical excess of £100. While this may be sufficient for some travellers, Fairer Finance rates it with only two stars, suggesting that there may be better options out there.
MRL travel insurance has been subject to a wide range of reviews, from frustrated customers unable to communicate with them or get the cover they needed, to those who were pleasantly surprised by their competitive prices and customer service. Unfortunately, the overall consensus is that their policies are unreliable and their customer service is inadequate. With the chance of claims being paid out being minimal and poor customer service, it's best to avoid MRL travel insurance. Score: 3/10
